Day 4: Moir Camp(4160m) – Barranco camp(3950m) Acclimitization Day
After spending a night at the Moir camp today is really about acclimatization. You trek to the base of Lava tower at 4500m, then descend through scenic forest, passing waterfalls that usher you into the Barranco camp. The camp is set in the shadow of the massive Barranco wall with easterly breezes often carrying misty clouds from the Barranco Valley. The camp is by far the most scenic of all the camps on this route.

Day 5: Barranco camp(3950m) – Karanga camp(3950m)
Today’s task is the 150m face of the Barranco wall. Realization of how hard the porters works will come here as this challenging scramble provides quite the balancing act for you and your crew.

Day 6: Karanga Camp(3995m) – Barafu Camp(4600m)
After breakfast with picnic lunch en-route, the morning trek is a slow and steady uphill hike as you enter the Arctic zone, The temperature becomes noticeably cooler, however excitement fills the camp as you make final preparations for the summit day ahead.
