Situated in the Spanish region of Andalucia, Malaga is the largest city on the Costa del Sol. Probably most famous as being the birthplace of famous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, the old town is now home to the Pablo Picasso museum. The city offers fantastic beaches, historical sites, museums, and restaurants in and around the old town. Visit the Alcazaba high up on the hill side for a wonderful view at this historic city.

We visited Malaga in December staying in the heart of the old town.

  1. Beautiful post and lovely photos especially the night shots. Just wrote about my time on the Costa Del Sol and we spent a few days in Malaga but always during the day as we were based in Fuengirola. Have a read if you get time. Cheers
