You may know the name Ngorongoro from the famous volcanic crater which gives the area its name. However what you may not know is that the wider Ngorongoro Conservation area is home to some 50,000 people.

Travelling from the crater through to the Serengeti National Park you will pass through large parts of this area and get a feel for the way of living for many of the local people. Though there is conflict between humans and the animals (a reason the Tanzanian government is looking to relocate all people living within the conservation area) you will still see plenty of wildlife along the way.

  1. Maasai culture is amazing.
I believe there shouldn’t be any conflict between people and animals.
Hope it will fade out by the time I got there once again!
