Spot the famous Rhino of Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the premier National Parks in Kenya. Famous for it’s population of both black and white Rhinoceros, the lake itself is also a mecca for migratory birds including the beautiful pink flamingo.

We travelled to Nakuru in October and had spectacular wildlife viewing. We had a sighting of 6 white rhino all grazing together on the lake’s edge, before being treated to a posing lioness with her 2 very adorable young cubs. Our time in the park also included a great viewing of the famous flamingos. We stayed at Flaming Hill Lodge which is a great lodge, centrally located within the park.
