Europe is littered with beautiful castles and the United Kingdom is no exception. We visited Conwy castle in North Wales to spend a few hours exploring the castle and learning about the history of this amazing structure. Built by Edward I somewhere around 1285, during his conquest of Wales, the castle is actually part of a larger structure which walls the entire town of Conwy. The whole area is a World Heritage site and attracts thousands of tourists each year looking to explore the site.
