Lake Nakuru National Park, so named for the large lake around which the park is based, is located in central Kenya. Just like Lake Manyara in Tanzania, the lake is a mecca for migrating Flamingos and other birds. The park is home to fantastic many of the big 5 including lions and rhino. We visited in October and had fantastic viewing of the flamingo as well as many other animals.
