The mighty flocks of Flamingos in Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park, so named for the large lake around which the park is based, is located in central Kenya. Just like Lake Manyara in Tanzania, the lake is a mecca for migrating Flamingos and other birds. The park is home to fantastic many of the big 5 including lions and rhino. We visited in October and had fantastic viewing of the flamingo as well as many other animals.
